Dallas-based developer, owner and operator of luxury senior housing communities, Abby Development, this week announced plans to build two new projects in Burleson, Texas and Lafayette, La.
Expected to break ground in late 2016, Arabella of Burleson will be a 279,106-square-foot community that will feature 100 independent living units, 30 independent living cottages, 52 assisted living units and 30 memory care units.
Though not finalized, the total project costs for Arabella of Burleson are estimated at $35 million, a representative from Abby Development told SHN.
In Louisiana, Abby Development is scheduled to break ground in late 2016 on Arabella of Lafayette, a 295,000-square-foot community that will feature 100 independent living units, 34 independent living cottages, 52 assisted living units and 36 memory care units.
The estimated project costs for Arabella of Lafayette are $43 million.
Both resort-style campuses will include upscale amenities such as indoor/outdoor swimming pools, a stocked fishing lake with walking trails, movie theaters and more.
Abby Development currently owns and operates six senior housing communities in Texas. The company will operate both the Burleson and Lafayette communities once constructed.
